Who are we?

Poole Volunteer Centre has been in existence for over 20 years and is one of over 300 volunteer centres across England. We are currently a project of Poole Council for Voluntary Service.

What do we do?

For those of you looking for voluntary work: we provide a free information service run on similar lines to job centres. We hold details of over 300 different voluntary jobs, plus details of overseas volunteering.
For charities and voluntary organisations looking for volunteers: we advertise your opportunities both in paper form and on our website. In addition, we organise training workshops; volunteer co-ordinators group meetings; produce our newsletter, ViP for volunteers working in Poole and generally give support to voluntary organisations seeking our assistance.

Where are we based?

We are based in the Poole Advice Centre, 54 Lagland Street, Poole which is fully accessible to disabled people.

When are we open?
